Renewing myself is the only constant I seem to have in my life (if you can imagine that). I used to be afraid of change, but now I'm making it happen. I'm strong but when I break, I shatter. I've been through a lot and when I think about the past I realize I'm happier now. I've made mistakes but have very few regrets. Things are good even when they're bad, and for that I am extremely lucky.


I'm Aly. 19 years old from Southern California. I live with my parents and younger, autistic sister (who both drives me up a wall and inspires me in ways others cannot) as well as my amazing boyfriend of the past five years. I do not believe in religion whatsoever, though I can respect the choice that people make to believe in it. I also hate politics in that I hate debating, but I have strong (liberal) political positions and hope to participate in a protest one day. I'm into tattoos and piercings but I have tame hobbies, such as crocheting, graphic design and scrap booking. I have random interests in music and television, but will probably watch almost any movie put in front of me. I'm down to earth and enjoying life.
